MP3 players that don't need computers

Zen_nano_plusResearching a feature on MP3 players, a colleague asked a simple question: is a computer always necessary to get music onto an MP3 player? I had barely thought about it. The answer, though, is no. Creative's Zen Nano Plus (50 songs), for example, can record music directly onto it from a CD player.

Interesting question, iload.com allows iPod users to update their iPod without the need for a computer.

The IRivers have done the same thing for years. I have an IRiver H-120 which has optical in/out. The IPods look nice, but really are a little light on extra features like this.
