3's secret HSDPA figures

How many customers does 3 Ireland actually have using its HSDPA data card? 300 is what I am hearing. I guess the multimedia operator is going to have to seriously change its marketing strategy -- and that means price, as it costs €40 per month for the realistic package -- if it wants ordinary people to consider this as a realistic broadband option. Sadly, it looks like there is still some distance to go to make this crucial leap -- it is still talking about the product as a quasi-business service. Silly strategy, when it has no business customers.

40 Euro inc VAT is still cheaper than the 49 Euro that Vodafone charges.

It's a reasonable enough price (given that I shelled out for the Vodafone option - and they lock you into a 12 month contract). I'd be more worried about the coverage that they have.

We signed up for 6 Vodafone cards last spring. Bad idea. Vodafone could not care less about any of their customers and the speed is pathetic.
