Should I start doing video? Emmet Ryan is doing some pretty good stuff on this score. Granted, he gets paid for it -- he submits it to ENN.
The problem is: how much can you write or create for something you're not going to get paid for, when you work in an area that pays you to focus those efforts that way instead?

If you wanted to make money from blogging you could monetise it without too much difficulty.
Adsense, for example, could probably net you enough to cover your hosting and domain costs without too much difficulty. You'd probably make more without that much effort...
