Surely not, I would have though twitter would be a definite contender for short-lived success and as for Facebook, well I've so far managed to avoid its spell. I'm an avid blog reader though and I can't see blogs dying a death anytime soon. Okay so Twenty Major has called it a day and a few others that make up the Irish blogosphere but I still turn to blogs for my daily news fix, blogs do a great job of distilling the interesting stories in the news and starting debates. It brings the news to life in a way that traditional media can't compete with.

Is that your way of saying 'that's my excuse for only posting every once in a blue moon when I feel like it?' ;-)

Adrian

Ha ha! No, though that's a fair point. I'd probably post more if there were more people reading blogs. Also, like you, because I spend my days researching and writing stories and features for an employer, it's kind of hard to siphon off some of that (paid) time to a glorified hobby.
