Have had a few narky responses from online retailers to a piece the paper ran yesterday on your rights as a consumer if your online purchase goes wrong. Retailers aren't too keen, apparently, on being presented with customers returning products to them instead of the manufacturer. Well, sorry guys -- if something goes wrong with the product you sold, even if it's a few months down the line, it's YOUR responsibility to deal with it, not the manufacturer's under some 'warranty'. Yes, it may ultimately end up back with the manufacturer, but guess what? That's your job to organise. And not your customer's.
Really enjoyed your piece in the SBP yesterday Adrian as I'm currently experiencing a nightmare with Laptopsdirect.ie [delete if you like]. Will be documenting fully on my blog and twitter soon anyway.

High street retailers of games consoles are bad for this.
I've heard many stores about retailers refusing downright to take consoles back and referring people to Microsoft or Sony.
