I attended this free two hour class on Saturday at Komplett's depot in Blanchardstown. Got a refresher course in what's what in a PC. The class was nice and small, at five people, which made questions and interaction part of the whole thing.
Shelton gave a lot of good tips on design, from picking a processor and a motherboard to choosing graphics cards and expansion slots. One guy there was in his 70s and seemed to be able to piece stuff together by the end of it.
I didn't feel at any point that it was a hard sell for Komplett equipment or stock. In fact, he didn't refer to Komplett once during the whole class.
This is a great way for a company to market itself, in my view. Congrats to Aaron and Shelton on a worthwhile two hours. I believe there's another one in two weeks' time, though you'd have to ask @aaronmckenna (on Twitter).
What ever observations was made re computer
building at the course, observing my age to be in my 70'S is incorrect.I'm younger than that, even though I may not look it.
