The idea behind Foursquare.com -- as far as I can make out -- is a good one. Leave tips for people on what's good around the city (whatever city you're in).
Honestly, though, it's pretty damned confusing to get started on it. It took me about 10 minutes to find out what the hell was going on at all. (In this day and age, that's probably about nine minutes and 30 seconds too long.)
There are also lots of bugs (although, in fairness, it's only just been put up). Espeecially the service not knowing when you are or aren't logged in.
However, quite a few people around the blogosphere and Twittersphere seem to be getting a kick out of it. So it's worth checking in on.
