Take a look at these screenshots sent in to me by a guy in Onlinemeetingrooms.com, which is based in Dun Laoghaire. They upgraded to UPC's 30Mbs service and whoosh -- they discover they're getting 100Mbs plus. Lucky, lucky them.

Hi, I got this speed the other night on my 8MB/s connection and regularly get 50MB/s plus any idea how??

It's pre-launch stuff. They're opening the pipes to test their equipment, as far as I know. Enjoy it while you have it -- not sure you'll continue getting speeds quite those fast.
